    With over ten years of coaching and facilitation experience, I offer goals-driven coaching and professional development for dreamers, individually and in groups, within and beyond the education and non-profit world.

    I am a trained adult and youth facilitator who moves Antiracist, Queer, Decolonizing, and Feminist theories into action and strategy. With hundreds of educators across the nation, I’ve designed workshops, series, and retreats for individual and collective healing from oppression.

    I offer coaching and professional development to nurture, repair, and/or restore healthy collectives and healing teams in the professional and organizing space. I create workshops to meet the needs of a team or retreat experiences to fortify collectives.

    Together, we can build interdisciplinary, qualitative, participatory, ethnographic, and creative research projects towards collective learning and organizing needs. I am finishing my dissertation, titled "Care in Containment: The Geography of Black and Indigenous Encounters within Schooling" with the support of the National Academy of Education's Spencer Dissertation Fellowship.

Below are some of the areas of expertise/experience through which we can build, battle, bridge, and become together.

  • Black Feminism

    What does feminist leadership/creation look like? We time-travel and manifest the liberation we seek—now. Black feminism carries out a vision that transcends the status quo, manifesting what “must” be true in the present while honoring experience, intuition, emotional intelligence, and excellence.

  • Abolition

    How can our work transcend the physical, psycho-social borders that order us? We fight binaries, interrogate power, reject punishment, and “critique knowledge itself” (Mohanty 195). We see systems as the problem, not people. These practices are essential for “transgressions—a movement against and beyond boundaries” (hooks 12).

  • Identity

    Who are you and how does that shape your work and creation? We are made through story and place and these profoundly shape our values, style, orientation to action, and orientation to community. We must locate our self, again and again, under layers of socialization and history and align our actions with this ever-evolving self.

  • Black and Native Studies

    What knowledge and life is protected through Black and Native studies? What histories, presents, and futures are possible when Black and Native life are moved from the margin? When we co-articulate Black and Native study, knowledge production, and life, alternative maps emerge.

  • Relationality

    Relationality, or how we approach relationship building, in modernity is confounding. Is coalition, allyship, and solidarity, or DEI possible in the afterlife of enslavement and genocide? We are all impacted by both systemic violence and freedom dreams. Alternative relationalities that can weather both the violence and the salve are already here if we can train our eye to see them.
